A Hope, A Dream
Anxious Love

The Rescue of a Heart

Casting Out Doubt

Untitled

How can I feel this love for you,
Yet we have never met,
The feelings wrap around my heart,
Of that there’s no regret.

I`ve lived my life alone for years,
Rejecting lies and pain,
If my heart breaks just one more time,
I know I'll go insane.

Could you awaken in my soul
The love that I once knew,
For my dear Sherri, the only wish
Is that it could be you!

The phone will ring, and in that moment
My heart will miss a beat;
I pray it is my own true love
To make my life complete.

I so much want to hold you close
And feel the warmth I miss;
Until that time can come around,
I send this with a kiss.

A Hope, A Dream

Anticipation of love forever,
Love's so light touch to make me s
hiver,
But yet the warmth envelopes my being,
Taking over my life all-knowing, all-seeing.

I pray it`s true, and to cast out
All fears and demons of false doubt,
To taste elixir of love and life,
And share a world with you, my wife.

Anxious Love

I`m writing this small poem
Just to make you smile,
For you, my dearest Sherri,
I`d walk that extra mile.

You worry if I`ll see you,
You worry if I`ll not;
Don`t worry any longer,
For I`m the one you`ve got!

The Rescue of a Heart

Her knight in shining armour
Rides in to free and serve,
To hold and love and keep her,
It’s the least that she deserves

Her life’s become a vacuum
That drains her soul away,
But that will change now love is here
On this auspicious day

 A fairytale beginning,
A promise of romance,
If life is one great ballroom
I want this final dance.

Casting Out Doubt

My love for you, Sherri,
It causes me pain,
To doubt your true love,
I want to refrain;
The hurt from the past
That clouds what is real,
Masking the promise
Of love that I feel.

For each new discovery
Of beauty so deep,
It draws me toward her
In waking and sleep.
If I had one wish,
I know it would be
To simply just love you
As you would with me.

As time draws nearer
For us both to hold
A love so complete
It will never grow old,
The wandering soul
Sees innermost love;
We must be together,
The hand and the glove.
